Before was ok, a great thrift find cabinet as it was....but it just needed to be red. I took about 20 bottles of old red craft acrylic paints, all shades, mixed them together to get this shade of red.
What a great cabinet! I love that you used all your leftover craft paints! I have 5 quarts of different shades of khaki that I want to mix up. Hope mine turns out as well as yours!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comment.
I love the red cupboard. Red's one of my favourite colours. I used to decorate primitive style but even though I don't anymore, I still appreciate and like the look. I love your colourful shaker boxes stacked up the side too.

It WAS screaming to be red! It looks great! It takes me a long time to do brave things like this... but the rewards are always worth it!

I'm liking the red - a lot. Great job!
You were right. Don't you love it when furniture speaks clearly to you and tells you exactly how it needs to be?
