Yard Sale Find of the Weekend

Saturday morning, we were up bright and early and on our way to Lowe's for some mower blades.

The bright green neon sign SCREAMED very loudly to me, in bold black letters. BIG MOVING SALE.

TURN...turn turn turn. After many cussing phrases, MilkMan turned the truck around for me. And what a bonanza! This red glider is my favorite for the day. Thirty bucks and it's in great shape. I also found two braided rugs, several clay pots (the man begged me to take them ALL, all of them, please) Ok sure, fine, I'll do this. But only this time LOL! Many other things I couldn't live without.

Ah.....nothing like a great yard sale on a Saturday morning, yes sir!

On the baby front, she is home and all is well. I RESISTED the temptation to run over there yesterday. This is going to be hard. ;)

Cool glider alright! I need something for the front porch....so...if ya happen to find another cool item lik....Oh well, I am always a day late, and dollar short to those things!! Here's how it went down, and it's pretty dang sad....we had our neighborhood yardsale last weekend! Of course "I" had no idea, and was asking JJ....what da hells going on around the hood this morning??? Where's all these people going, driving thru with all this STUFF!?! I mean people had cargo vans and trailers!!! JJ, the big chicken that he is....ducked inside quickly!

Honestly, I figured you'd made yourself a nice little spot next to Marilyn already...who needs to go home - right?!?!

I wish I had a front porch to put something like that on. Mine is 4 x 6 I think. It might not fit.

Very nice looking and look, it seems to have cup holders. Sweet. That was a find and a half.

No...I was too busy dirt hauling....JJ's trying to get all the work outta me he can before my labotomy. And...YES, we are STILL working on the yard...blech! I'm sooo over it already....And BOY, have I gained a huge appreciation for those landscaper dudes....Gawd I wish I had a personal one, just to shovel and wheelbarrel all that heavy stuff! Maybe a cabana boy too whilst I'm wishing, what da hell!!! ;)

You're so lucky getting a girl...we're blessed with having another great nephew coming at the end of May/June.....But oh how I wished for a girl to break up the gang of boys my niece has started in her clan.....it just ain't right I tell ya!!
