I've got many shots of 'hairy biker men' that I don't know. There is something in these kinds of faces that draw me in. Sorta like my penchant for old mirrors, beat up but loved furniture and all things that tell a history with it's lines, cracks and wrinkles.
I'm thankful my new camera has such a good zoom on it, I can take more photos of these gnarly faces without being given THE LOOK, yanno?

Maybe it's *character* you're seeing. Alot of living can show up in a person's face.
I'm a like my man clean shaven or a bit stubbly kind of gal myself LOL

Ha Ha! I do that too. I just snap pictures of total strangers and these innocent souls think that I am tourist taking pictures of trees and buildings. Only if they knew!
Ahha ... see now I am going to attend this wonderful festival that is stretched out over eight nights mostly. I will listen to the music, especially Peter Frampton, but I am mostly going for the people watching and to take wonderful pictures of strangers. That is why I have a very nice zoom too. It makes those pictures possible of people just being themselves.
You know I never thought of it that way but it is nice seeing the character in ones face. It really does make a wonderful picture.
Smile for the birdie...
Tina, yeah, lots of character, for sure.
Misstress M, it's sorta like people watching only refined. I could entertain myself all day doing this.
Bar...Frampton??? I still have his first album.
That is a great shot, love the lighting.
I have to agree, there is something about it. Like when I look at an old barn and see the nails and I wonder about the person who put them there.
